Tactile blind color Experience

2018
Food photography project
Milano

Talking about Photography.
We had a nice opportunity to freedomly explore the concept of “Colors” through a food shot.

We imagined a tactile color experience.
What if you can’t see the colors but they can be experienced through the touch?  In this surreal scenario we built, colors can be touched and the proximity of the colored finger makes the jelly change.

Geometry, graphic composition, food as a game, harmony of nuances and a human touch have been the ingredients for this project.
We designed the set, we briefed the chef and coordinated with her the choice of colors for the jellies. She made a range of 50 different tones and choosing and matching them has been very inspiring.

Squeezing the jellies at the end of the shooting was very liberating!
